And I was carving out my own Way

They all walked together under their Master’s hand
 Shielded! They moved fearless,
They had nothing to envy, yet they did,
They resented to my every bid,
Aloof I was, with a li’l fear in my heart,
Unguarded, in the hazy war,
With my own principles,
I had to walk.
I had to walk. Walk.
Walk for I chased the horizon,
Walk for something was awaiting there,
Away beyond the spheres of life and limits of time,
There is something which is calling me afar,
Beyond the war,
Beyond the Star.
Unaware was I perhaps,
Or perhaps I was a li’l extra aware,
Whatever it was, it was strange,
Those hazy boulevards, with mist around,
Thorns on the way, shackles did surround
Blind ends at every edge,
God, what Law you want me to be bound
For you left me unguided
And I chose to not to turn around!
Yes, and when the world walked on the paths settled,
I was lost in the part un-mettled
Unguided was I, for my ventures were virgin,
Unshielded was I for my mettle was unseen,
Should I Thank you, or Should I please you
I just want you to know
That
You think of me this way or another,
Your world was walking in its own 'gay',
And I was carving out my own way,
because Oh My Lord,
you were not pleased to bless me with a Godfather....
